Our monthly meal preparation for Immanuel Baptist Men’s Shelter is this Sunday, December 21! This is a fantastic volunteer opportunity to assist in feeding the hungry of New Haven and give back to our local community.
Meal preparation begins at 3:30 in the basement of St. Mary’s Church. We’ll finish up cooking around 6:00, and then serve the food at the shelter. We invite you to join us for any part of the afternoon you can assist.
Hope to see you there!
Council 10705 has been asked to assist in ushering at this year’s Christmas Masses at St. Mary’s Church. Help is needed at the 5PM Christmas Eve, Midnight Mass, and 10AM Christmas Day Masses.
If you’re able to assist, please wear a suit, tie, and KofC lapel pin, and check in with a member of the Council when you arrive. Volunteers will be assisting with the collection, pointing visitors to the restrooms, distributing programs, and assisting the celebrants as needed.
Please email email@example.com if you plan on volunteering, or for more information.
Our next monthly council meeting will be this Monday, October 6. As a reminder, meetings are held the first Monday of each month.
We invite all members to join us at 6:00 PM in the Church for an hour of prayer and Eucharistic Adoration dedicated to the cause of Fr. Michael J. McGivney’s canonization.
Our Council meeting will follow in the Church Basement immediately following Adoration, at 7:00 PM.

In the spirit of all things autumnal and fraternal, Council 10705 is planning a repeat of last year’s successful Yale football tailgate.
Plans are to gather for food and drink – and sell some tootsie rolls to raise money for those with intellectual disabilities – before the Yale v. Dartmouth game on October 11.
We’ll have more details and logistics later, but be sure to mark your calendars new – you don’t want to miss this fun tradition!
